That said, Microsoft has released KB5012643 to the Release Preview channel (alone) for Windows 11. This update does not include any new features for the OS, but certainly includes many fixes. This hints that Microsoft is ready to offer an optional update to Windows 11 users on a stable channel in the next week or so. This release focuses primarily on improving the operating system’s startup time, which could often be up to 40 minutes in some cases! In addition, improvements to servicing the Secure Boot component of Windows have also been made. How to Install Windows 11 KB5012643 (22000.651)
To install this update, you need to be running Windows 11 and subscribed to the Release Preview channel. If you have enabled Windows updates, you will automatically get a “New features are ready to install” prompt. Rollback/Remove Windows 11 Insider Preview Update
