The keyboard is fully backlit and gives you the complete RGB suite thanks to the Lenovo Vantage software, allowing you to customize the gaming laptop to your heart’s content. The machine also has a MUX switch, allowing you to bypass the integrated GPU to get a performance boost in games. A ton of gaming laptops do not have a MUX switch, as companies want to do a little cost-saving, but here, Lenovo has taken a completely different route. The battery is an 80Whr unit that can give you between 7-8 hours of runtime, but that will depend on what you are doing, what are the display’s brightness levels, whether keyboard lighting is on or off, and a ton of other factors. You also get a phenomenal selection of ports, but unfortunately, the Legion 5 Pro does not have Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 support since this product has an AMD CPU. Regardless, if you still feel that PC hardware is expensive and want something that is nearly as powerful but portable at the same time, Lenovo’s premium gaming laptop will not disappoint you.
