The new addition to the database was spotted by ‘PlayStation Game Size’ and posted on Twitter some hours ago. The remake was announced last month during Square Enix’s 25th Final Fantasy VII anniversary broadcast. Aside from visual enhancements, no further details were shared about the upcoming remake, but the official Final Fantasy VII Twitter account has now provided more details. Created by modder ‘‘Jack McKracKen’, this 4K texture pack for the remastered version of the original Dark Souls uses AI-upscaling to enhance the game’s environmental textures. Some original textures in the game have also been replaced or modified by the modder, but the original art style of the game has been retained. The 4K texture pack weighs in at a whopping 35GB (when unpacked), and users are required to use the ‘DSR Texture Packer and Unpacker in order to use these upscaled textures....

Now, speaking to the official PLAY magazine, Polyarc Principal Engineer Brendan Walker talked excitedly about the PS VR2 controllers - the very first thing unveiled by Sony about the new Virtual Reality hardware. This month, there will be two newly launched games adding both DLSS and RTX. The first is Loopmancer, an action platformer game out next week on PC. According to NVIDIA, DLSS Performance Mode can more than double performance at 4K resolution with ray traced reflections enabled. Then there’s the indie game Hell Pie, scheduled to launch on July 21st, which features ray traced reflections and ambient occlusion. Dreamsettler is a spiritual successor to previously-released Hypnospace Outlaw, and is being designed by Tendershoot and No More Robots. In essence, Dreamsettler is an early ’00s internet simulator in which you solve cases for an array of strange and endearing characters as a Sleepnet Private Investigator. This new game will be a AAA production and built with Unreal Engine 5, but beyond that, specific details are a bit scarce. What we do know is Montreal-based developer Tuque Games is being rebranded as Invoke Studios and set for a major expansion. Currently, the studio has around 80 employees, but the goal is to grow to over 200 by 2025.
